That's where Linguado came to my mind!
I thought to myself, wouldn't it be cool if there was a free app where you could find native speakers nearby—or from anywhere in the world—and just… chat?
It's simple. You search by language, location, age, gender, nationality… whatever works for you. Then you connect with people who want to help you learn their language—and maybe practice yours in return.

This vision started with me, Alexander Kaplan.
Growing up between different countries and cultures, I saw how language learning apps were missing one key element: human connection. Gamification is fun, but nothing beats a real person showing you how their language and culture actually work.
So in 2020, I teamed up with my friend Italo, an experienced entrepreneur and the tech genius behind the scenes. Together, we brought Linguado to life.
